Education: Jack Christy, Jr. is a graduate of Greenwood High School. He continued his education at the ATA Training Academy and became a commercial aircraft mechanic. He attended over 125 classes to fulfill his continuing education and aircraft mechanic licensing requirements. After seven years in the airline business, Jack decided to change his career and enter the auction industry. He is a graduate of Professional Ring man’s Institute, Graduate of Benefit Auction Specialist, Auction Technology Specialist, Certified Auctioneer Institute, and Graduate of Personal Property Appraisal.
Experience: In 2006, Jack earned his auctioneering license after passing the required classes at Reppert School of Auctioneering and the state licensing exam. His specializes in automobiles, tooling, electronics, general estate, and bankruptcy auctions. Jack currently is an instructor at Reppert Auction School, and Indiana Auctioneers Association Continuing Education programs. Also Jack serves as the manager for the IT, marketing, online sales, and offsite auction departments. He will be a class advisor for the CAI (Certified Auctioneer Institute) beginning in 2021. Jack Jr Served as the Indiana Auctioneers Association Vice President in 2019, and will be the President in 2020.
