Born and raised in Ashland, Ohio, Andy graduated from Ashland High School and went on to The Ohio State University where he studied Agricultural Education. In 2002 he graduated from the Missouri Auction School and completed his real estate courses from Hondros College in 2003. Since then Andy has been a full-time auctioneer specializing in Agricultural Real Estate and Equipment auctions. Andy also serves as a contract auctioneer for the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction, the Akron Auto Auction, Williams and Williams Worldwide Auction Company, and several other organizations. In 2007 Andy was the Ohio Auctioneers Champion and went on to be runner-up twice on the international stage before being named the 2013 International Auctioneers Champion. Andy’s most recent award was being crowned the 2016 World Livestock Auctioneer Champion. In 2017 Andy won the World Automobile Auctioneer Championship and became only the second auctioneer to win all three major championships. In 2010 Andy became the co-owner of Real Estate Showcase Auction Company, now RES Auction Services. Andy is a past president of the Ohio Auctioneers Association and received the highest designation an auctioneer can receive at the Certified Auctioneers Institute as well as the Contract Auction Specialist Designation. Andy and his wife Megan are active on his family farm where he hopes to instill his passion for agriculture in their 3 sons.
